In the year 2000 my car still had a tape player in it. In fact I had a tape player in my 96 Jetta until about late 2001 when my boyfriend (now husband) had to "borrow" my car for an "odd" errand and suprised me by having a cd player installed. Doesn't that seem a bit nuts? Er, maybe I'm just getting old. That doesn't seem that long ago!
Do they still sell cars with tape, ahem, cassette players anymore? Do they sell cassette players at the stores anymore?
What's the reason for all this mumbling? I was doing some organizing today and came across an old mix tape of mine from Spring 2000 - that was the season that I both met my husband and graduated college. That would make me old. old. old. When I do the math it just doesn't seem right that I graduated from college almost NINE years ago! So any way, I thought maybe some of you web-sters might like a peek into what my nerdy, in love self thought was a decent mix tape. Or maybe not. You choose.
