I think the first light is definitely a winner...
... and the fact that it supports one 100W bulb is going to be the perfect amount of lighting we need for the space. Right now we have two fixtures that each have two 60W bulbs. Which is 240W total... and it's a bit much. You can actually feel heat coming off them at times. Probably not the best use of energy.
So I was going through IKEA and I really liked a lot of what I found... I had thought of ordering cabinetry from a local hardware store... but this is actually a very similar finish and without having to do countertops (which I wanted granite or quartz) would save us a TON of money. This little set up below would only cost a little over $1000. Which is fantastic because it leaves extra money for some great tile.
